What If…? S03 E08 - What if… What If?

BRIeF…

Ahhh the very last episode of this long journey. There were a few ups and down, bits of action and acting, but what was always there to haunt me… were the HUGE amount of capes I had to animate.

What worked?

While I had a few actions shots for this episodes there were a few that I couldn’t really record reference for, I ended up relying more on the poses in the animatic provided and using that as a guide.

What didn’t worked?

I don’t know why but I feel the shots I’ve done are way more stiffer than what I did in the previous episodes especially for the acting parts. It maybe because the deadline for this episode was really cutting it close or from the burnout.

What to improve?

While I am still needing to improve on my animation now that I am out of What if…? and need to learn how to add blinking in my shots again, for the overall journey that is this series, my animation has improved so much compared to when I first started back in 2021.

Although I was disappointed to find that my name was either missing or misspelt while looking through a few episode credits.

But other than that, a huge thank you to the best animation team I had the pleasure of working with. See you in the next one!
