What If…? S03 E06 - What if… 1872?

BRIeF…

This episode was around the time I wanted to improve more on my body mechanics as I felt a little sick of constant back to back shots of acting. I requested to get a few action shots and was luck to get a few of them.

What worked?

While this shot was a good start in body mechanics, it gave me a rough idea on how much I needed to work and improve on.

I ended up using my reference to help with the weight of the landing and more of the animatic to help with poses and adjusting the timing from there to work with the shot.

What didn’t worked?

For some reason, this shot was the only shot I struggled with the most while working on this episode.

I couldn’t quite get the acting beats down. Even with me doing 2 different takes, it was always ‘This is not working‘ or ‘Doesn’t feel right‘.

This shot ended up going to client and getting altered.

What to improve?

I would like to improve more on body mechanics so its on a similar level to my acting as well as, try planning a shot with my supevisor before starting so I don’t have so much back and forth.
